Olivia serves as a Graduate Intern in the Pathways to Excellence Office at the University of Iowa working primarily with the Excelling@Iowa initiative. In this role, she assists with managing student referrals, provides academic coaching, and supports first-year and transfer students in their transition to the university. She is currently a graduate student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) MA program. 

 

Olivia graduated from the University of Iowa in May 2024 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Music and Health Sciences. She worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for three years of her undergraduate education and later served as a Program Assistant with the Supplemental Instruction & Peer Led Undergraduate Study (SI & PLUS) programs.These experiences instilled in her a commitment to student success that drives her work. Olivia is passionate about developing student autonomy and empowering students to succeed in their coursework through accessible academic support resources.
