Amar Beginovic is from Urbandale, Iowa, and began his undergraduate journey at the University of Iowa in Fall 2022 on the pre-dentistry track. He graduated from the University of Iowa in Fall 2025. During his undergraduate experience, Amar worked with First Gen Hawks as a peer mentor and the Office of Admissions as a student panelist. These roles helped him discover his passion for student affairs and supporting student success.

He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the Higher Education Student Affairs (HESA) Program while serving as a graduate intern with the Pathways to Excellence Office, where he continues to expand his knowledge of student affairs and develop as a higher education professional.
